Single Moms

I commend you!  No, I am not a single mom but my husband has been working A LOTTTTT on the weekends (remember the two financial goals I mentioned a few posts ago--- we are almost there!) so I am home alone A LOTTTT on the weekends which has given me a whole new perspective of parenting.  Do not get me wrong, I am BEYOND thankful for my husband's wonderful job and the hours and hours of hard work that he does for our family but I am exhausted! Whew!  I managed to have morning snuggles with the little man, get showered and presentable, grocery shop (ended up having to open the cheese-its before we even checked out because Brax was ready for a snack), got all $180 worth of groceries put away (no, we do not spend that much, haha, part of it is for my class party), crock pot meal going, a short nap (Brax-not me), lunch with a dear friend (Brax was so good for about an hour, so we actually got to enjoy lunch!), ran to Academy, home to watch cartoons and snuggle while I fought to stay awake, got Brax down for a nap, I might have taken a short nap (!!), now I have chili going while he continues to nap.  Busy busy day!!!!
