Our Super Bowl Party

I wish I would have taken some pictures but I didn't.... BOO!

I could have cared less about the game but I know that men will watch any football game whether they like the teams or not so I knew that it would be on our TV.  Anyways, we got invited to watch it with some friends but hubby decided that he wanted to stay home to watch it.  I was bummed, like really bummed (remember my snippett about hanging out with friends the night before--sometimes I miss the heck out of just being around people our age) but he had worked 13 hours on Saturday so I agreed.  Tonight ended up turning into precious moments that I would not trade for the world.... Brax and I danced to the half time show, we danced more, had tickle wars and giggled giggled giggled, Brax sat with daddy in his chair and actually looked like he was watching football (really mad at myself for not getting a picture!), all three of us enjoyed chips, queso, and sliders (it's about the only thing Brax would eat for dinner--oops!), we got dinner in the crockpot for tonight, made lunches for today, danced some more, tickled some more, played the guitar, shared some strawberries in our "snack spot," and just enjoyed being together.

These are times that I will never ever forget and I am so grateful for these precious moments!!!

Awesome. Family times like these are better than any party in the world. Would have loved to hear the tickle giggles and I know there were alot. I love my little smiling grandson.
