Fourth of July

We had a great fourth of July! We went with Stephanie, Scott, Peyton, Alicia, Kris, and Madelyn to Stephanie's uncle's house in Rockwall.  The house was beautiful and it had a wonderful pool.  We had such a blast hanging out and chatting with our "second family."  I took some pictures on my camera and when I got home I erased ALL of my pictures before uploading them so I lost them all.  I am very sad about this because we had a great family picture with all of us in our bathing suits.  Luckily, Steph had some pictures she sent me from that day but I still do not have a family picture which makes me terribly sad.  

Sweet Brax.  He had on fourth of July overalls but they were very hot.    His hair is looking mighty red in this picture and so are his cheeks.

After Uncle B's house we came home and stayed in for the evening.  Braxton was fading very quickly by the time that we left his house and slept the whole way home and was bathed, bottled, and in bed BY 8!  He was worn out which does not surprise me since he does NOT sleep unless he is in the car or in his crib.  HAHA.  He is very scared of missing something so he makes himself stay awake which then means we have a very very very unhappy baby boy.  We skipped fire works this year too.  It was really ok though..... Hubby had to get up and go to work the next morning, Brax was sleeping soundly in his crib, and I was asleep not long after that without  dealing with all of the traffic (if you know me you know that I am not big on crowds and dealing with the traffic after big events, ha!)!!!!!  We will go next year when he can watch them (if he will sit still long enough).  Fourth of July was a blast and I hope that we can find a pool next year to do the same thing.... or maybe we will just barge in on Uncle B again! =)
