Show Us Your Life: Marriage Advice

I usually do not participate in Show Us Your Life over at Kelly's Korner but today I will!  Brax is down for a nap and hubby is home from work so this actually gave us time to talk about what we, as a couple, would say is our best marriage advice.  Now do not get me wrong I feel as if I have no place giving marriage advice because we have only been married 3-1/2 years but 3-1/2 years is long enough to learn atleast a few things, haha. 

• Be honest and open.  If you have to hide, lie, or keeps things a secret then there is a problem.  Is this always easy? No way but it's a must! Talk, Talk, Talk!  Oh yes and talk some more!
• Keep your relationship to yourselves.  There is no reason that everyone needs to know every move of your relationship, not even your momma.  Of course there are times when you might need to seek advice but your problems/arguments should stay between you and your spouse.
• Take time for yourselves! 
• RESPECT each other, ALWAYS!
• Know that marriage is WORK, hard word.  It's not always easy by any means.  There will be days/weeks where you feel like marriage is just too hard, but know it is ALL worth it!
