What's New?
Let's see.... not a lot has been going on. Summer is flying by and I have a feeling that I am going to have a hard time adjusting to not being with Brax all day once school starts back up =( Trying to soak up these last few weeks of summer and enjoy every last second with him! He had definitely entered the "I do not want my bottom on the ground" point in his life. He wants to be with us at all times and literally does not want his bottom touching the ground (meaning he does not want to be put down), he he! Although I love love love holding him and so does his daddy.... it makes it virtually impossible to get ANYTHING done. I am sure this is just a phase and we are working on talking him through these little moments (I am sure he understands us ;) We have also been trying a lot of table foods. He chews and chews and chews with his EIGHT teeth... yes that's right... EIGHT! He has had ground turkey, ground beef, chicken, pork chop, lots of fruits, broccoli, carrots, beans, refried beans, roasted sweet potatoes, and last night he had meatballs (cut up of course). This week I am going to get more table foods that he can eat.... if you have any good ideas please let me know!!!! Yesterday I also found him sitting up in his bed. I almost fell over when I walked in and saw that. He was soo stinkin' cute and just sat there and smiled at me as I asked him what he was doing, hehe! Anyways, this is a random post but oh well! I hope everyone is staying cool, as for me I just stay inside and avoid the heat at all cost! Happy Tuesday!

We are staying indoors, too. It's SO hot! Sounds like Braxton is doing great on his foods! We did a lot of those same things. Allie loves meatloaf. It's a great one, because you can mix a lot of veggies in, and then he can feed himself the meat once it's cooked and soft. Have you done shredded cheese? That was (and still is) one of Allie's faves.
I have not tried cheese yet, but I thought about meatloaf! We were just talking about stuff at dinner that he can eat. Now I just want to make sure he is getting enough since we can not gauge it by how many jars he eats, ha! I will have to try the cheese too! What table foods did you feed her for breakfast when she was just starting?
