We went for Brax's 15 month check up yesterday and I have to say this was the best one yet! Not because of anything that the doctor reported about him but this was the first time that he was actually playful, talkative, and didn't cry as soon as the doctor walked in!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, he is perfect- 90% height (he has grown two inches since December!), 75% on weight, and 95% for his head (nothing new, this little boy was born with a big "brain", haha, so we hear the same thing every time we go for a check up--he gets it from his momma). I talked to her about his speech, or lack there of, and she said that he is right on track. I guess I am just paranoid and it's hard not to compare his speech with other kids around his age. The more I talked to her the more words I thought of that he can say, so that makes me feel better! We talked about his sleeping, which is good, about his eating, which is beyond good, and about his lovely little tantrums. We had a rough weekend with the tantrums but the last two nights have been amazing so I am not sure if maybe he didn't feel too good or what. She did say that they would only get worse before they get better but that's ok, we still love him to the moon and back even when he throws himself forward on the floor screaming at the top of his lungs!
Off to get him up and ready for "school" today! I love our morning time together!
