As I sit here typing I should be sitting in training at school but you know somethings just do not always go as planned. Braxton had a fever yesterday/last night and this momma can not stand for him to feel bad, It just breaks my heart. I have no idea where the fever came from or why he had one all afternoon/last night and not one today, but I just could not stand the thought of taking him to Mrs. D's if he is not feeling well. So, I frantically text my vice principal who told me what to do and when I would need to make these trainings up. This bummed me out a little because the trainings are on Saturdays and I cherish EVERY minute on the weekends with my little family. As I walked around moping last night hubby was so sweet, not saying much but just trying to lift my spirits. So far today Brax is fever free but fussy. Today as I keep having the recurring thoughts of these (horrible) Saturday trainings I keep reminding myself to be thankful. I am thankful that he does not seem to be sick, thankful that I did not have to take him to the doctor, thankful for such a supportive husband, thankful for a husband who loves Brax and me so much, thankful that I have a job, thankful that I am able to make up my trainings so that I can have the whole week off at Thanksgiving.
Brax is currently taking a nap so I took advantage of some computer time and designed his cupcake toppers that we will use for his birthday party. I can not believe that in 3-1/2 months my little 6lb 15oz baby will be one. Oh me oh my!
