I feel like after the first couple of months this pregnancy has FLOWN by! We are getting even more excited than we were before and I know that will continue to grow as the time draws closer and closer. Let's see what has been going on.......* Buddy got the changer/dresser put together when I was out of town this last weekend and I LOVE it.
*The baby is moving around SO much and Buddy was able to feel it for the first time on July 22nd! The baby seems to move around a lot at about 10pm and a lot in the mornings. I have not gotten to the point where it is keeping me awake at night though so I am very lucky.
*I go for my monthly check up this Thursday
*School starts back up for me on August 18th..... this is when teachers go back, the kids do not return until August 23rd.
*I have started getting a lot of ideas for the nursery and can not wait to really start working on it! My friend Heather painted a picture for the baby's room and I am very excited about it!
I feel like I have been super busy lately even with out me working. On the days that I do not have anything to do I seem to find something to do because I can not stand to be bored. I decided that I am really glad I taught summer school because I do not think that I would have fared very well with two full months off (plus the bonus paycheck was amazing!). I keep telling myself that next summer I will be very busy and preoccupied with our little one so this summer it is ok to be a little bored. I am very excited to start this school year. I am ready to see how my classes will be, who will be in my classes, and to use the new ideas I have been thinking of! I try not to think about it often because it really worries me, but at some point I really need to start thinking about my maternity leave. I really do not want to be away from my classroom that long so I am very thankful that Christmas break will fall in with my maternity leave. Do not get me wrong I am VERY VERY VERY excited to meet this little blessing, but I have found it hard to leave my class with someone else in charge.
I have found a couple of gender neutral outfits and my mother in law got me two more!
Although all five of them are yellow, they are so cute! Today I decided that it would be fun to go shopping with my husband and let him pick out 2-3 boy outfits and I will pick out 2-3 girl outfits and these will be the baby's first outfits. I found out that Carter's does not have a time limit on how long you have to take stuff back so I am very excited about doing this, maybe sooner than later! We will just return the other outfits for the other gender after the baby is born.
