First Baby Shower

This past weekend we had our first baby shower! I still can not believe how many people came and how many things this tiny little "mystery" baby got! We ended up getting a TON of the essentials: car seat, pack-n-play, boppy, multiple diaper bags, bathing essentials, and even a few clothes. We got a lot of diapers and wipes too, which I know will help out a TON! Buddy and I had originally gone and picked out gender specific coming home outfits but my mom bought a few girl outfits and a few boy outfits and I actually ended up falling in love with one of the girl outfits that she got. It's not pink, it's a light purple, which I LOVE on little girls! I have some pictures of my shower but I did not get any of us posing so I will have to get those from my mom. The ones I have are mainly of me opening gifts and I look awful!! HaHa. After the shower I wanted to get everything washed, organized, and put away so my sister in law, Sarah, came over and helped. It made things ALOT less overwhelming and we actually got everything done! I even put together the pack-n-play!! Pretty soon we are going to bring this into our bedroom so that we can get used to it being in there and also the dog. We also need to get another base for our car seat for Buddy's truck and go get those installed at the hospital. I know many people do this themselves but this might be one thing that I am paranoid about it and want it to be done 100% correct! Anyways.... our shower was GREAT!!! I still have two more, one at work that is being thrown by my AWESOME team and a joint one with my sister that is being thrown by my step mom and her friends! I am looking forward to both of them and looking even more forward to the time continuing to move right along because before we know it this little one will be here!!!!
